WARREN, NJ - Anthony Rocchietti scored 14 points to lead Watchung Hills to a 56-42 boys basketball victory over Phillipsburg on Tuesday night. The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.
 
Watchung Hills jumped out to an early lead, outscoring Phillipsburg, 14-5, in the first quarter.
 
 
Justin LaCapra and Andrew Steinhardt scored 10 points apiece while Mark Ball added nine points for Watchung Hills. Dan Pilsbury and Devyn Spruell each hit for five points.
 
Coach Justin Salton said, "We were able to overcome foul trouble and cause some turnovers tonight to get a key win. We need to learn from our mistakes and keep getting better as we have a big showdown at Immaculata on Thursday."

 
Kweku Dawson-Amoah led Phillipsburg in scoring with 14 points.
 
The Warriors will travel to Immaculata in Somerville on Thursday, Jan.15.
