FLEMINGTON,  NJ - A fired up Warrior team led Watchung Hills over Hunterdon Central Tuesday night, 59-51. The last time the two teams met in January, the Red Devils came out on top, 70-64.

Watchung Hills took a 32-17 lead into the half and Hunterdon Central never caught up.

Coach Salton said,"The boys played very well today, especially coming back from extended time off because of the weather.  We built a 22-pt lead and responded well when they cut into that deficit.  As we have told our team all year, when we play like we are capable of, we can compete with anyone.  We play one of the top public schools (Ridge) in the state on senior night, and I really hope the seniors and team play well as we honor these five terrific young men."

The Warriors improve to 11-8 with the victory and will take on Ridge at home on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Ridge beat Rutgers Prep on Jack Smith's bucket with less than one second left for a 37-35 victory on Tuesday night.
