WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills, the top seed,  pushed past fourth-seeded Gill St. Bernard's, 2-1, in the Somerset County Tournament semifinal on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Max Brown scored first for the Warriors on a Ray Arnold assist. Arnold scored the game winning goal in the second half  assisted by Filipe Goncalves.

James Reiner scored off a pass from Cameron Miller in the first half for Gill St. Bernard's lone goal.

J.P. Gavin finished with seven saves for the Warriors.  Jordan Schreer of Gill St. Bernard's stopped nine shots.

In the other semi-final match, Hillsborough defeated Pingry, 2-1, at The Miller Bugliari World Cup Soccer Field in Martinsville. The win was Hillsborough's first victory over Pingry in school history.

Watchung Hills and defending co-champion Hillsborough will face off in the finals at Tozier Field, next Saturday, Oct.26 at 3 p.m.

The Warriors improved to 11-1-1 on the season with the victory.
