WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills out-scored Hunterdon Central 19-14 in the fourth but it wasn't enough to erase an early deficit and the Warriors fell to Hunterdon Central, 70-64, on Tuesday night.
After injury side-lined him for Saturday's game, Anthony Rocchietti bounced back to lead Watchung Hills in scoring with 25 points.
Mark Ball and Evan Meyers both put up 12 points.
Coach Salton said, "Proud of the guys for fighting back and closing a big lead, but we have to play a full game if we are going to be successful in our league. Give Central credit for playing well and making it difficult for us to execute our game plan and scouting report."
Cole Hanntz led Hunterdon Central with 23 points.
The Warriors record falls to 8-6 with the loss. They face Bridgewater-Raritan on Thursday night.
