The Drive was capped off with a 4 yard touchdown run by Jack Taub who received great blocks by Michael Fornaro, Matt Pereira Christian Rowan, and Logan Scheibler. The second touchdown was a 21 yard touchdown run by Andrew Reale behind an earth shattering block by Charlie Everhard. Owen Kovacs made 2 of 3 extra point attempts.
Defensively the Wolverines shut down the high flying Packer offense all day. The Defensive line of Colantuono, Claxton, Marc Daas, Matt Drews, Parker and Rooks kept the athletic Packer quarterback in check all day sacking him 4 times. The line backing crew of Cook, Kovacs, Reale, Taub and Tomaro were flying all over the field. Tomaro had a fumble forcing pop early in the second half to stop a Packer drive. The secondary of Joey Denave, Sean Dillon, Mario Martino, and Patrick Stefurak kept the speedy Packer receiver blanketed all day. Stefurak added an interception to close out any hope the Packers had to score. The Wolverines take on the Hillsborough Dukes on September 14 in Hillsborough.
