A survey, due Thursday afternoon, was sent to all seniors on Wednesday regarding next steps for the last day of school, June 19 and possible later dates.

To help plan for graduation, all 12th graders are asked to provide feedback by Thursday, June 4 at 5pm with the goal to create the best graduation ceremony possible within the parameters given by authorities. Watchung Hills is tentatively looking at holding in person ceremonies on July, 8, 9, and 10.

Due to health and safety concerns, the NJDOE has advised schools to limit speakers and musical performances at graduation ceremonies. As a result, Watchung Hills will share all speeches/musical performances prior to the in-person graduation. Also, the number of people who can gather at a graduation ceremony is limited. Presently they can only allow a maximum capacity of 25; but they are hopeful that the number will increase.

However, even if the capacity limit is increased, there are still choices to be made so seniors are asked to respond to the survey for feedback on feasible options.
