WARREN, NJ - Brian Reiss won his 10th game for the Hustlin' Warriors, allowing just four hits over six innings with an earned run, no walks, and two strikeouts to lead Watchung Hills over Columbia, 9-1, on Thursday in the baseball quarterfinals of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 tournament. Tyler Lombardo closed out the game, striking out two.
 
John Port had two doubles with three RBI, Brandon Hylton added two RBI with a run, and Chris Roth had two RBI and two runs for Watchung Hills.
 
 
Head coach Joe Tremarco said, "Proud of the way our guys didn't get too high or too low....we maintained our composure throughout and just played Hustlin' Warrior Baseball. Our seniors stepped up all over the field...Port at bat, Simon on the bases to spark us, Reiss and Lombardo on the mound, and our defense making plays."
 
Watchung Hills is now 26-4 on the season and will host Tuesday's semifinals against fourth-seeded Millburn (23-3) who defeated Scotch Plains-Fanwood 10-0 in the other quarterfinal.

WATCHUNG, NJ - Dr. Thomas DiGanci has taken over the helm of Bayberry School in Watchung and a meet and greet has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 at 9:30 a.m.
