WARREN, NJ - Kevin Sylvestri threw six innings, striking out six, allowing just two runs on four hits and two walks for Watchung Hills but the Warriors baseball team couldn't cross home plate, falling to Hunterdon Central on Monday, 2-0.

There were only eight hits in the entire game - Central got five and the Warriors got three.

After four scoreless innings, Central scored both runs in the fifth inning.

In relief, Dylan Murphy pitched one inning, allowing one hit, with no strikeouts and no walks for Watchung Hills.

Alex Degen and Dylan McNulty combined for a three-hit shutout for Hunterdon Central. Watchung Hills next plays Middlesex on Wednesday.
