WARREN, NJ - Dan Roth, Nicolas Cortes and Brian Reiss combined on an eight-hit shutout with five strikeouts to lead Watching Hills over Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 9-0, on Wednesday.
 
Ed Pogi was 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored, Sullivan Bean hit a three-run home run, Chris Roth was 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs and John Port went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Watchung Hills.
 
Matt Fox had two hits for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, which twice loaded the bases, once with none and and another time with one out, and failed to cash in on either threat.
Watchung Hills plays again Thursday in the semifinals of the Somerset County Tournament against Bridgewater-Raritan. The game is scheduled at 7 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark.
 
The Hustlin' Warriors are now 17-3 on the season.
