ANNANDALE, NJ - Junior Mike Murray threw 5 innings of shutout baseball as Watchung Hills defeated North Hunterdon on Wednesday, 7-2. 

Murray gave up five hits and one walk, while striking out seven, to collect his first win of the season. 


Senior Kevin Sylvestri came in for a six out save giving up two hits while striking out three. Juniors Brandon Hylton and Jeff Poggi both hit solo home runs- Hylton's in the top of the first and Poggi's in the top of the seventh.

Junior Tyler Riley was 1 for 3 with a 2 RBI double in the 7th and Sophomore James McKenna went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Senior Tyler Kulisz was 1 for 3 with 3 runs scored.

Grant Sible went 2 for 3 with an RBI double for North.
