WARREN, NJ - The Watchung Hills Hustlin' Warriors varsity baseball team defeated Hillsborough on Thursday, 7-6.

 

After a collision with the center field  wall, senior outfielder Nick Mink went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a double, and a 2-run HR in the bottom of the 6th inning that would win it for the Warriors. 

 

Brandon Hylton was 3 for 3 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. Dylan Murphy and Andrew Martins each went 2 for 3 with an RBI apiece.

Tyler Riley pitched 1 2/3 in relief to earn his first career win.

 

"As a team we had fun just playing the game today and stayed together as a Team....today was a big time character win!" said WHRHS head coach Joe Tremarco.

 

Steve Grober and Chris Scala each had two hits for Hillsborough.
