UNION, NJ - The historic season continues for the Watchung Hills boys basketball team. The Warriors notched win No. 20 in their victory over Union in the first round of the NJSIAA state tournament on Tuesday, 50-46.

Watchung Hills moves on to face Newark Eastside on Thursday at 7 p.m.

“Just a special year...historic year...great team, even better people,” said WHRHS head coach Justin Salton. “These young men mean more to me then they ever will know. I love my boys.”

Dan Pilsbury led Watchung Hills with 21 points and grabbed five rebounds. Steven Bressler added 14 points, including 3 three-pointers, and brought down seven rebounds.
