FLEMINGTON, NJ -They did it. The Watchung Hills boys lacrosse team got revenge on Hunterdon Central to take the first section title in school history on Saturday, 10-4.

The Warriors are NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2 Group 4 champs.

”I'm so proud of our group for their commitment to improvement and preparation during the course of the season,” said WHRHS head coach Jamie Lovejoy.  “It was a program goal to earn a state championship and our guys did just that.  They played with grit and for each other, as they have all season long. This is a special win for our players, parents, alumni and community.  We're thrilled to have more time together and are excited by the opportunity to make a run at the TOC.”
