WARREN, NJ - Some 20 Watchung Hills Class of 2017 Warriors who will be continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level were recognized on Thursday at the school.

Joined by friends and family members as well as some of their coaches and WHRHS Director of Athletics Chris Van Vliet, the students gathered in the Media Center after school.

As students leave their buildings for the last time before Summer vacation, the students show a variety of emotions - relief and happiness that the school year is over and Summer fun can begin. 


But to some, the leaving is bittersweet because they are leaving for other destinations-other schools, other states, and other teams. And for those playing fall sports, some of them will be leaving for college just a few days after high school graduation.
