WARREN, NJ - Bria Johnson had a game high 16 points to lead the Montgomery Cougars over previously unbeaten Watchung Hills on Thursday, 59-48. 

Montgomery outscored Watchung Hills,24-15, in the fourth quarter to take and keep the lead. The Warriors took the early lead up 16-8 after the first, and 28-24 at the half.

Senior Julia Cunningham led Watchung Hills with 13 points. Alexa Santo had 11 points including three threes, McKenna Frey added 8 points and 10 rebounds, Alyssa Killeen chipped in 10 points and Jayden Baltuch added four points.

Abby March added 12 points and Carolyn Prevost sunk 11 points for Montgomery.

The Warriors are now 9-1 on the season and the Cougars improved to 8-3. 

Watchung Hills next plays at Morris Knolls on Friday.
