WARREN, NJ -Julia Cunningham scored 23 points and had nine rebounds, four blocks and four assists to lead Watchung Hills over Bound Brook in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament on Thursday, 71-59.


After falling behind in the first period 14-13, Watchung Hills rebounded in the second to lead 32-29,and pulled away in the third, 53- 43.


Freshman Jayden Baltuch had 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Jess Santo had 12 points, eight rebounds and two steals and Alexa Santo had 11 points, four assists and three rebounds. McKenna Frey added six points and Alyssa Killeen chipped in four for Watchung Hills.

Janeea' Summers scored a game-high 27 points for Bound Brook.

Watchung Hills will take on Rutgers Prep in the semi-finals of the Somerset County Tournament on Saturday.
