WARREN, NJ - Senior Julia Cunningham tallied a game high 18 points and eight rebounds as the Watchung Hills Girls basketball team triumphed at home over Westfield on Saturday, 46-37. 

Watchung Hills remains unbeaten. The Warriors are now 9-0.

Sophomore Alexa Santo added 17 points with three threes for the Warriors. Cunningham and Santo each had  four steals, Jayden Baltuch stole three and Alyssa Killeen stole two.

Watchung Hills  took control in the third quarter forcing seven turnovers going up 32-18 midway through the quarter. The Warriors outscored Westfield 16-4 in the third.

”Proud of our team as they keep our undefeated record in tact,” said WHRHS head coach Reese Kirchofer. “Doing things the right way and off to the best start in Watchung Hills Basketball history.  Looking to keep it rolling on Tuesday at home, hope we get a lot of fans out to see these girls play!”

Molly Ryan led the scoring for Westfield with 18 points. 

Watchung Hills next plays Phillipsburg on Tuesday.
