WARREN, NJ - It was close, 6-5 at the half , but Watchung Hills varsity girls lacrosse team is still looking for their second win as they fell to Hillsborough on Tuesday, 14-9.

Shannon Twill saved 12 shots on goal for the Warriors.

Katie Carroll scored four goals, Madelyn Murphy scored two and Haley Frey, McKenna Frey and Emery Jochnau each scored one goal for Watchung Hills.

Tess Norfleat led Hillsborough with four goals.

Watchung Hills falls to 1-10 on the season and Hillsborough improves to 11-2.

Watchung Hills will play at home on senior night Thursday at 6 p.m. against New Providence.
