WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills girls soccer team dropped their home opener to Pingry on Saturday 3-1 after taking a 1-0 lead into the half.
Chloe Ferreira had the lone goal for the Warriors assisted by Sara Sifert.
“Right now we just have to stay the course,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueiredo. “We’ve been competitive in each of our games, and if we continue doing the right things and gaining more game experience, things are going to turn around.”
Madisyn Pilla led Pingry with two goals.
Watchung Hills falls to 1- 4 on the season and next takes on North Hunterdon at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
