WARREN, NJ - The streak ended. After two blowout games earlier in the week against Randolph( 10-0) and Governor Livingston( 13-2), the Lady Warriors fell to Montgomery on Thursday, 5-3.

Peyton Schnackenberg allowed two earned runs with seven strikeouts and two walks over seven innings and drove in three runs and for Montgomery.

Robin McCabe struck out 10, and Brooke Aldrich and Izzy Definis had two hits each for Watchung Hills.

Montgomery scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to extend a 2-1 lead. The Warriors scored then scored two.

Watchung Hills is now 9-4 on the season and the Cougars improve to 5-5.
