BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Robin McCabe and Alyssa Murray combined to lead Watchung Hills over Bridgewater-Raritan in the Somerset County Tournament final on Friday, 5-3.

It took nine innings, but the Warriors won their fourth Somerset County title in past five years. 

With one out, a run in and runners on first and second in the bottom of the fifth inning, Murray went in relief getting a strikeout and a grounder and threw four more hitless innings.

Nicole Carroccia lead off the 9th with a single and Genna Cicchetti bunted her to second. Carroccia made it to third on a ground out.

And then all time hit leader Kayla Schinik was up with two outs for Watchung Hills.

Schinik was safe at first on an error and Carroccia scored, lifting Watchung Hills up, 4-3. Schinik advanced and scored on two wild pitches giving Watchung Hills the lead, 5-3.

The lead held and Watchung Hills takes home the trophy, improving to 22-5 on the season.
