HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Revenge is sweet in May. The Watchung Hills softball team avenged an opening day loss with a decisive victory over Hillsborough in the Somerset County Tournament, Semifinal Round on Wednesday, 7-1.
 
Watchung Hills out-hit Hillsborough, 15-5.
 
Robin McCabe allowed five hits, one earned run, one walk and struck out 11.
 

Kayla Schinik went 2-for-3 with an RBI, Brooke Aldrich had two hits and two RBI, Alyssa Murray finished 3-for-4 with two runs.

Izzy Definis was 2-for-4 with a run, Julia Stasil was 2-for-3 with a run,Nicole Carrroccia scored a run, and Tina Zoppi had two hits and scored a run. 

Kelsey Galevich hit a home run for Hillsborough. 

Watchung Hills is now 20-5 on the season and will play Bridgewater-Raritan in the final at Torpey field on Saturday. Bridgewater-Raritan defeated Immaculata, 10-8, in the other semifinal.
