WARREN, NJ -  The Watchung Hills varsity softball team bounced back on Wednesday and defeated Hillsborough, 4-3.

Watchung Hills took an early lead and the Raiders almost caught up in the top of the seventh inning with two runs.

Robin McCabe allowed just two earned runs on seven hits, walked two and struck out two for Watchung Hills.

Lianna Meehan batted 1000 going 3-for-3 with a double and a home run, Izzy Definis hit two with an RBI and Erin Bean went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Watchung Hills.

Watchung Hills is now 17-7 on the season.
