WARREN, NJ - Snow and freezing rain are expected Sunday into Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for parts of Ocean, Monmouth and Mercer Counties through Monday afternoon. A winter weather adivisory has been issued for most other counties.
A wintry mix this afternoon is expected to give way to heavy snow overnight into Monday morning. The storm is expected to end by Monday afternoon.
Police advise that some roads, including Hillcrest Rd and Bonnie Burn Rd, are subject to closure during the storm.
Expect delays and detours. You should not drive unless absolutely necessary to allow for quicker and more efficient snow removal.
Remove cars parked in the street to assist Public Works with snow removal, and remind your snow removal contractor that plowing snow from private property into the roadway is prohibited.
