NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ  - A 26-year-old Perth Amboy woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after being sought by police in connection with an aggravated assault as part of a domestic dispute with a sports bar employee of a North Plainfield Route 22 sports bar and grill, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson and North Plainfield Police Chief William Parenti announced in a release.

Bryanna Gomez-Vanwyk was taken into custody by Perth Amboy police and is being held in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, the release said. A photo of Gomez-Vanwyk and the name of the sports bar was not included in the release, although many have told TAPinto that people were seen seeking shelter from her outside both Texas Roadhouse and Arooga’s on Monday night. Patrons told TAPinto that she “didn’t shoot but ran through screaming with a paintball gun that looked real.”
