In less then 24 hours, the Parkland Moms Club put a card making event together at the park next to the amphitheater which has turned into a massive memorial. Kids from infants to 5th graders helped create cards for teachers, first responders, and hospital workers. Paulina Splechta donated her amazing photography skills and sent us tons and tons of pictures. No matter your age, there is a way to spread love and kindness. Parkland rules.
Our goal is to give each teacher, first responder and hospital worker a card. Please consider having your child/children/classrooms (for teachers) make cards. You can simply tell them they are making people who are sad feel happy. No details necessary. They can write Thank You and sign their name.
Please mail it to the President of the Moms Club:
Susan Alman, 7401 Wiles Road, Suite 353, Coral Springs, Florida 33067
Please share with your friends and teacher friends.
Update: Friends, due to the hundreds of replies received, the principal of Douglas is asking that instead of sending letters to the school please send one single banner that they can hang for when the kids come back to school. Imagine how awesome the kids will feel when the halls, fences, and entire campus is covered in well-wishes of love for them. Thanks for your support. Thanks for your understanding
