SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - On Wednesday, Sept. 11, local communities will honor the fallen from the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
The annual silent procession begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11. The procession will travel on Somerset Street from Greenbrook Road to Lincoln Place. A memorial ceremony is planned at approximately 8:45 a.m. at the Fire Bell.
The ceremony will occur at 8:30 a.m. at the 9/11 Fallen Heroes Monument in front of the Municipal Building. The monument depicts the Twin Towers and features an inscription that reads: “We Will Never Forget.” All residents are invited and encouraged to attend.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Top of the World Park 9/11 Memorial.
The annual ceremony is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the 9/11 memorial on the Village Green. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at Valley View School.
