Weather Related Incidents Close Warren and Green Brook and Watchung Roads

WARREN, NJ - Hillcrest Road, Washington Avenue and Warrenville Road are being closed until further notice due to traffic weather related incidents, police advised on Thursday afternoon.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the area and local schools dismissed early. Snow is falling fast and the roads are snow covered.

Utility Work Closes Warren Road

WARREN, NJ - Utility work on the water lines have closed Old Smalleytown Road in both directions on Tuesday night. Work started mid afternoon near the intersection with Valley View Road and has continued toward Stiles Road. The road is blocked in both directions between Loriann Road and Stiles Road at 8:45 p.m.

Power Outage Hits Warren’s East Side

WARREN, NJ - It’s not just you. A power outage has been reported to Jersey Central Power & Light ( JCP&L) affecting much of the east side of Warren on Saturday evening. 


JCP& L is investigating and has an estimated restoration time of 11:30 p.m. however they are still awaiting dispatch at 8:30 p.m.
