WARREN, NJ - What will you be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day? We asked some local people to give us answers to that question, and to reflect on what they feel gratitude for this Thanksgiving, either on a personal or community level.

Always a lot to be thankful for...I am thankful to have a wonderful family with a lot of love and support from my wife Laura and two girls, Mia and Cami with one more on the way due near opening night :). This is the season that I reflect on the past and make plans to build a future for the happiness of those around me. I am grateful for too much to put into words but the top four are easy to choose.
- First of all, I am thankful for the health and happiness of my family which includes my beautiful seven grand children who bring me so much happiness.
- Second, my friends and neighbors who make my life so full and provide support and council.
- Third, the residents of Warren Township who have had the confidence in me, over many years, to provide leadership and direction for our great town.
- Fourth, I am very thankful to live in a free and abundant country where we challenge each other for the betterment of us all.
I always use the holiday season to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances to renew bonds, ask for forgiveness for any misdeeds or words and forgive those who have attempted to do me harm. -Vic Sordillo ,Warren Township Committeeman

At Thanksgiving I reflect on all that I am grateful for, immediately my daughters and my family are at the forefront of my thankfulness. Together they keep me grounded on the importance of loved ones.
Our community in North Plainfield deepens my gratitude at this time of year. It is the entirety of the community, students, parents, teachers, administrators and board members that instill their trust in me to lead an amazing educational community to further our mutual goals.

First and foremost I am thankful for my family, friends and for the gift of good health and the realization that so much of the quality of our lives hinges on the good health of ourselves and those we love.

As my family celebrates our first holiday without my Dad, I am thankful that we had him in all of our lives for 89 years.
