WARREN, NJ - Weather conditions have closed some more roads as a blizzard is hitting our area and conditions are deteriorating. The Watchung Hills Board of Education meeting has been cancelled. The Watchung Boro council reorganization meeting scheduled for Jan 4 is postponed until noon Sat Jan. 6 at Boro Hall 

As of 1 p.m. the scheduled meeting of the Warren Township Committee is on.Mount Bethel Road is shut down between Mountain Boulevard and Mount Horeb Road in Warren. 

 Warren Township Municipal Offices will be closing at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2017.

Mountain Avenue is closed between Route 22 and King George Road until further notice in Green Brook.

Hillcrest Road, Washington Avenue and Warrenville Road are closed due to weather conditions until further notice, police advised.

A blizzard warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday along the Jersey shore and for portions of central and southern New Jersey.

Help the Department of Public Works with snow removal by removing your vehicle from the side of the road. Do not push snow from your driveway back onto the street and do not call 9-1-1 about snow removal from your street.

In North Plainfield:

The community center will be closed this evening due to the snow.

As the result of the closing the NPCCR meeting, featuring Police Chief William Parenti as guest speaker, is being cancelled.
