WARREN, NJ - Elizabeth C. Jewett, Ph.D., Superintendent of the Watchung Hills Regional High School District, has been named the Somerset County Superintendent of the Year by the Somerset County Association of School Administrators.
Watchung Hills Board of Education President Rita Barone made the announcement at the May 19 virtual meeting of the board.
"Being nominated as Somerset County Superintendent of the Year by my Somerset County colleagues is a very humbling and meaningful honor,” said Jewett to TAPinto. “The Somerset County Superintendents along with our Executive County Superintendent are a group of educational leaders whom I tremendously respect. They have been especially collaborative and supportive as we all navigate this pandemic and what it means for our districts."
