WATCHUNG, NJ - The Easter Bunny was back in the area on Saturday seeing area children and getting ready for the big day.

Organized for the second year by Council members Daryl Eisenberg Knegten and Lindsay Goodloe, through their site WatchungVolunteers.org, the Easter Bunny, played once again by Council member Pete Martino, arrived to bring COVID-safe cheer. Following last year's drive-by Bunny Hop, this year families took outdoor photos with the bunny and then had the opportunity to walk the Kindness Trail.

"Over 30 families joined us on the Kindness Trail at Wilson Memorial Church" said Council member and organizer of the event, Daryl Eisenberg Knegten. "The kids were dressed 'to the nines' and everyone was all smiles to enjoy a brisk, spring afternoon surrounded by true Watchung nature. Thanks to Council members Pete Martino and Lindsay Goodloe and Michael Droege of Wilson Memorial Church for their partnerships!"

"Our kindness trail has been designed to be a place of welcome. We are thrilled that we could host families from our community and see hope and joy on everyone's face! Thank you Daryl for planning this event!" says Rev Michael Droege of Wilson Memorial Church.
