BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Watchung Hills remains unbeaten after a 3-1 victory over Pingry on Wednesday. Watchung Hills also has wins over Montgomery and Somerville and through the three games the Warriors have outscored opponents 10-2.

 

“I’m very proud of the effort we gave today,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueriedo.  “Pingry has an outstanding team and it’s not easy to go there and win and we battled our way through it today and found a way.  I’m hoping we can become more consistent for 80 minutes in all aspects of our game, but right now I’m thrilled to be 3-0 to start our season.”

 

Ava Prisco, Jenna Tobia, and Claudia Ferreira scored for Watchung Hills on assists from Lauren Dolce, Paige Thomas, and Ava Prisco. Rebecca Schell was fierce in goal stopping 13 shots for Watchung Hills.

 

Watchung Hills next faces Ridge away on Saturday.
