WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Board of Education approved a new employment contract for Dr. Matthew Mingle, superintendent, at its meeting on Monday, April 27, 2020.
The Board voted unanimously to modify Mingle’s current contract, which runs from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2022, to end at the conclusion of the current school year, and award a new five-year contract, effective July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2025.
“This action is a confirmation of our continued support for Dr. Mingle,” said Christian Bellmann, president of the BOE.
“Warren is a special community and its support for the school district is second to none. I can’t think of a better place to be superintendent and Ivalue the trust placed in me by the Board and our community,” Mingle said.
“Over the next couple of meetings, the Board will review and vote on approval for a new five-year strategic plan. I am proud of the work we have done since my arrival four years ago and excited to be here to see the next strategic plan through to its completion over the next five years,” Mingle added.
