“We are excited entering this season, having a large junior class who has really been putting gin the effort and leading by example,” said WHRHS head coach Tim Tedesco. “We finished off last season with a 7-4-1 and really got going on the right path; the team looks to continue that success into the early parts of this season. I expect a much different team than last year despite only losing five players and our goals consist of a top spot in the Skyland Division, a state playoff birth, and a deep run into states.”

Returning in goal for the Warriors is Nate Joglekar who was Skyland Conference Honorable Mention last year.

Watchung Hills upset Hunterdon Central in the Skyland playoffs last year before falling short to Pingry in the Skyland Conference Semi-Finals.

The Warriors next face Hunterdon Central on Saturday. The team will be collecting non-perishable food item(s) at the game (12/7) to donate to our local food pantry.
