HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Watchung Hills Wrestling earned a three peat on Saturday and Sophomore Nico Calello won Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Somerset County Tournament. Four Warriors were crowned champions and Watchung Hills won its third straight team title. All on Watchung Hills' head coach Jimmy Huff's birthday. Somerville took second place.

“We came into the tournament today with high expectations, but knowing full well that every weight class was going to be hotly contested, and that we would have to scrap for every victory that we earned,” said WHRHS head coach James Huff. “I thought that the boys wrestled well on the whole as a team, and while we have a lot more work to do, I’m proud of what they accomplished today. Go Warriors!”

Calello (106), and juniors Jake Bash (145), Blake Bahna (160) and John Dusza(195) won individual county titles. Gerard Aroneo, Dylan Kolakowski, and Jack Murray placed second.
