I have resided in Wayne Township’s 4th Ward with my family since 1999.  I am also a recently retired Wayne Township Police Officer, after more than 25 years of service. Throughout this time, I have witnessed numerous changes to the township.

Shortly after I became a Wayne Township Police Officer, I met Joseph Scuralli.  From the first conversation we had in the mid 90’s, I knew immediately that this man cared deeply about Wayne Township, a place he has called home his entire life.  As my career progressed, I would frequently run into Joe. After asking about my family, he would always inquire about how things were going in the township and Police Department.  Joe liked details to make sure the Police Department was supported.  My conversations would always end with him saying, “Mike if you guys need anything, let me know!”  This is support that I always looked for as a Wayne Township Police Officer.

Even today, my neighbors and I know we have Joe’s support for any situation that occurs within the 4th Ward. I would be remiss not to mention his success as a Wayne Township council member.  He has been elected 3 times by his fellow council members as Council President, which is a rare achievement. This is a result of his natural ability to work with multiple township officials over an extended period.

Joseph Scuralli is the person I want representing my family as 4th Ward Councilman.
