WAYNE, NJ – On Oct 5 Mayor Chris Vergano cut the ribbon at Wayne Pharmacy & Surgical Supply’s grand re-opening as part of his push to support local small businesses in Wayne.
“Every business in Wayne is important to our town, no matter their size,” said Vergano. “Each business provides a convenient service to our residents making life better for all of us. And, Svetislav and Helena Milic are Wayne residents as well.”
Wayne Pharmacy & Surgical Supplies has been on Hamburg Turnpike for years, but was sold to new owners Svetislav Milic, R.Ph and Leonardo Ortega, R.Ph. one year ago this month.
“We decided to do a grand re-opening to introduce the new look in our store and highlight the new private immunization room, which will help our customers feel more comfortable,” said Helena Milic, the marketing director for the store. “We’ve expanded our surgical supplies, to help more people and updated our computer software to make the experience of shopping here seamless and hassle free.”
Wayne Pharmacy & Surgical Supplies also offers Concierge Service. Because the Milics live nearby, they offer 24-hour around-the-clock service for their customers. “So, if anyone has an emergency room visit in the middle of the night and needs a prescription filled immediately, we will meet you at the store at any time,” said Helena. “We also offer free delivery and are open seven days a week.”
