WAYNE, NJ - The storm has passed, leaving in its wake a path of destruction. Power is out all over Wayne and although PSE&G have some estimates for restoration for some areas, many residents remain in the dark both figuratively and literally.

The PSE&G Outage Map provides some areas of Wayne with estimated dates and time of restoration, but the earliest dates for Wayne are August 6 in the afternoon through August 7 overnight.  There are still several areas on the map that don't provide dates for restoration and only say: " Assessing Condition."

The JCP&L Area Outage Map does not provide restoration times, yet. "Estimated restoration time will be provided when available," their site states.

Approximately 740 line workers
Approximately 725 forestry contractors
Approximately 270 hazard responders
Approximately 75 damage assessors
Approximately 30 support personnel

Power outage trackers estimate that still over one million New Jersey customers, over 35,000 Passaic County customers, and over 15,000 Wayne customers are without power..
