Three new deaths were reported for Wayne:

  • June 25: Zero
  • June 26: Zero
  • June 27: Zero
  • June 28: Zero
  • June 29: Zero
  • June 30: Three
  • July 1: Zero

Two deaths were reported between June 19 – June 24

Four deaths were reported between June 11 – June 18.

Five deaths were reported between June 4 – June 10

The Township’s total deaths due to COVID-19 is now 182 – No details on ages of the deceased or the dates of their passing.

There were 9 new positive cases for Wayne:

  • June 25: Three
  • June 26: Four
  • June 27: Zero
  • June 28: One
  • June 29: Zero
  • June 30: One
  • July 1: Zero

Eleven new cases were reported between June 19 – June 24

Twenty-six new cases were reported between June 11 – June 18.

Twenty-six new cases were reported between June 4 – June 10

Total number of Wayne residents who have tested positive: 1,430

Total number of Wayne residents who have tested negative: 4,500 – This number has not been updated recently.

Positive cases include:

  • Men: 3
  • Women: 6
  • Average Age: 49
  • Age Range: 22 - 93

Of Note:

The average age of 49 for this week’s new positive cases is the youngest 7-day average since the Township began keeping track.  Six of the nine positive cases were people under 40 years old, including a 22-year-old, a 24-year-old, a 25-year-old, a 28-year-old, a 36-year-old, and a 38-year-old.
