WAYNE, NJ - In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Wayne YMCA is offering all local teachers and their families free use of the Y for the entire month of May.

“Our communities are stronger because of our teachers and the tireless commitment they have to the education of youth, especially when confronted with unprecedented challenges this past year. To show our appreciation, we invite teachers and their families to come enjoy the Y and our wellness facilities all month along,” said Richard K. Gorab, President and CEO of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, which includes the Wayne Y.

To take advantage of this special offer, teachers can register in-person at the Y or over the phone by calling 973-758-9039. Proof of employment is required. Eligible family members include those living in the same household.
