Tee Off For the Library - Family Fun Event

 WAYNE, NJ - Next weekend, November 1 and 2, the Wayne Township Public Library will be hosting a FunRaiser, to support the renovation of the Children’s Storytime Room.

When was the last time you golfed in a library?  I hope your answer is ‘Never.’ But now is your chance! The Wayne Public Library Foundation presents Mini-Golf at the library featuring an adults only evening and a family-oriented Saturday. “A big thank you to Lincoln of Wayne for sponsoring the event,” said Doreen Shoba the acting Library Director.

Friday night, November 1 is an adults only reception catered by Gary’s Wine and Marketplace. The evening begins at 6:30 and your $15.00 donation includes free mini-golf, wine, beer and hors d’oevres.

Saturday, November 2 from 11am – 3pm is family fun day.  Your donation includes free ice cream, ‘The World’s Greatest Balloon Animals’ and a Comedy Magic Show provided by Ferris The Great from Party Magic Entertainment.

Hot Dogs are only $1.00 each and come with all the fixings – But no spilling mustard on the new carpets!

  • Balloon Animal twisting is from 11:00am – Noon
  • Magic Show starts at 12:15pm
  • Golf, Ice Cream and Hot Dogs from 11:00am – 3:00pm
  • Cost: $15.00 per family, or $5.00 per individual.

“All are welcome,” said Shoba. “You can buy tickets on the day of the event or come in ahead of time to purchase tickets.”
