WAYNE, NJ – Dr. Joe Manfredi has recently opened his second dental office in Wayne Township, called Artista Dental Studios. He brings with him, his community and patient-driven philosophy and has decided to provide free services to the volunteers at Wayne’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic.
To date, the Wayne vaccine clinic, located at the old Macy’s in the Preakness Shopping Center, has administered over 8,000 vaccine first and second doses.
Although the clinic is run by the Wayne Health Department, it’s the volunteers that make the whole process run so smoothly, and its these volunteers that Wayne’s newest dentist wants to thank by providing them free dental services.
Dr. Manfredi is a new name in Wayne. He has been practicing in his flagship location in Manhattan for over 16 years, and just recently took over the existing practice run by long-time Wayne dentist, Dr. Frank Tamaro.
As a way to give back to his new community, Dr. Manfredi is proudly offering a free comprehensive service to the CERT members who have volunteered at the Wayne vaccine clinic, as well as to the staff of public nurses at the Wayne Health Department.
The service includes a full set of X-rays, comprehensive exam, cleaning and cosmetic evaluation. This is over a $350 value, and it's available for FREE to the first 30 CERT volunteers or public health nurses who call to make an appointment.
If you are one of these volunteers, call the Artista Dental Studio in Wayne today to make an appointment anytime in the future. Mention that you are a CERT volunteer or are one of Wayne Township’s public health nurses. The number is: (973) 942-9421.
“I have many police officers and teachers as clients in my Manhattan office, and I always take care of them,” said Dr. Manfredi. “I feel that it’s important for me to take care of the people who take care of our community.”
Artista Dental Studio is also offering this comprehensive package at a discounted rate for every CERT volunteer, Wayne police officers, Wayne fire department and first aid squad volunteers and to Wayne teachers as well.
“This is very welcome news,” said Wayne Mayor Chris Vergano. “The volunteers who show up at our vaccine clinic every week deserve this recognition and this offer is extremely generous. On behalf of our CERT volunteers and public health nurses I want to thank Dr. Manfredi for thinking of them and supporting them.”
Dental hygienist, Michele Joachim worked for Dr. Tamaro for 30 years before Manfredi took over the practice. She knows that the first responders and teachers who take advantage of this offer will be well-taken-care-of.
“The patients call him ‘a breath of fresh air,’” she said of the new dentist. “He's friendly, he's personable, he's caring, he listens -which is huge in dentistry. And he's extremely experienced, and very bright.”
“Dr. Manfredi is younger, so he is up on a lot of the cutting-edge technology in dentistry,” added Joachim. “He’s always researching and learning, and for me, it was nice to see new ways of doing things. For example, he showed me a new bleaching technique that I wasn’t aware of.”
As a professional who offers comprehensive, modern techniques, Dr. Manfredi performs with a high level of talent and experience. He is someone who truly cares about his patients on a personal level, as well as his community as a whole, which can be easily seen in just a brief conversation with the talented dentist. He has a passion for his profession, a welcoming smile and a confidence that puts people at ease.
After graduating from the prestigious NYU Dental School, Manfredi was selected as one of just a handful of students to participate in an Honors Dental Clinic which trained him how to provide complex cosmetic and restorative dental services.
Sixteen years later, he has one of the most successful practices in Manhattan and is continually listed as one of “AMERICA’S TOP DENTISTS” since 2013, and constantly ranked as one of Manhattan’s top Cosmetic Dentists.
After an office make-over in his new Wayne office, that included several upgrades to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the midst of a pandemic, Manfredi began welcoming patients to the new Artista Dental Studio located in the Wayne Commons at 510 Hamburg Turnpike in Suite 207.
“I wanted to bring my premier, Manhattan-style dentistry to Wayne,” said Dr. Manfredi. “This style is very patient-driven. My clients have always expected top results, and I have always delivered.”
At Artista Dental Studio, Dr. Manfredi offers a custom approach, where every patient’s needs and wants are unique, and so are his strategies to meet those needs and wants.
“I don’t just look at things from a structural standpoint,” he added. “I'm looking at it from a cosmetic standpoint. I'm looking at it from a whole-mouth approach. My responsibility is not just for my patient’s teeth; I feel my responsibility is for their overall well-being as well as their dental health.”
It’s this level of dental intensity that made him such a success in Manhattan and now he is bringing that intensity to Wayne Township.
“I use the highest quality laboratories and premium quality materials,” he added proudly. “I want to do what's best for my patient, so I never cut corners.”
His goal is for patients to leave their appointment confident that they received the best service possible.
“I want them walking out confident in their style and I want to give them one of the best feelings they’ve ever had from a dental office,” he said with a smile. “That’s my goal.”
Because Wayne’s newest dentist works both in his Manhattan office and here in Wayne, he relies on Dr. Charles Lennon, an associate of Manfredi’s and part of the Artista Dental Studio team.
“Dr. Lennon is someone who has over 40 years of experience,” said Manfredi. “He is a prosthodontist, which is a specialist who does crowns, bridges, fillings and dentures, as well as implants. I’m grateful to have a doctor of his experience helping to take care of my patients in both of my offices.”
Artista Dental Studio accepts many dental insurance plans and offers an in-office dental insurance plan, as well as competitive pricing for cash-paying patients.
