WAYNE, NJ – The Tri-County Chamber of Commerce held its annual holiday luncheon for the business community and its members. This year, the Chamber asked everyone who attended to bring a toy or gift card for Passaic County CASA whose office is located in Wayne.

CASA advocates for children in the foster care system and the gifts will go to the children they represent to help make their holidays brighter.

“It means a lot to these children to get something special during the holidays,” said Courtney Como, CASA’s Director of Development. “And, the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce has been a CASA supporter for many years.”

The holiday luncheon was very well-attended with over sixty representatives of local businesses on hand to meet, network and celebrate the holiday season. “We have nearly double the turn-out this year, then last,” said President of the Chamber Jamie Dykes. “I’m very happy to see the businesses community in and around Wayne thriving and growing.”
