WAYNE, NJ – For the third year in a row, the Wayne Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Wayne Township Summer Concert Series.
For 2020, the lineup has expanded from five shows to seven starting June 24 and ending on August 12.
“We are even more excited about this year’s line-up,” said Parks and Recreation Director Tim Roetman. “Our series is starting out with a Billy Joel Tribute band called ‘The 52nd Street Band,’ who are excellent!”
Each Concert will begin at 7:00pm on the lawn of the Wayne Municipal Complex on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. If rain is forecast, the show will be moved into Wayne Valley High School auditorium, so the show will always go on.
“This is the only free series of concerts held in the Township,” said Roetman. “And, it’s really popular. Concert attendance is regularly in the hundreds and sometimes reaches one thousand people.”
Looking For Sponsors
Roetman is excited to offer sponsorship opportunities in connection with the series. “We feel this is a great opportunity for a business to align itself with one of the most popular family-oriented events held in Wayne,” he said. “Sponsors can get reserved front row seating as well have their name and logos published on concert promotional materials, on stage on the day of the show, and through the Township’s website and other Parks and Recreation publications reaching up to 55,000 local residents.”
According to Roetman “Your sponsorship of Wayne Township’s Summer Concert Series is the key to building great relationships with local customers. Go outside, have fun and enjoy some great music while meeting old and new clients.”
For more information on Sponsorship, reach out to Tim Roetman via phone: 973-694-1800 x 3376 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
As with all the summer concert series events, admission is free, but all are asked to bring a Dry Goods Donation to help local families in need.
