Wayne, NJ- On Friday April 24, 2020, The Harlem MagicMasters return to Wayne Valley High School to tip off against the Wayne Alliance All Stars in an annual tournament to support alcohol and drug prevention education.

It is estimated that over 1000 fans will enjoy the fun and entertainment featuring a surprise half-time show, hosted by Packanack Lake School.  Everyone will delight in their routine.

"Traditionally the game is sponsored by local businesses, PTO and hard working volunteers who support Alcohol and Drug-free events," said Robbin Gulino, Alliance Coordinator.  She shared. This year, so far, March Construction has signed on to be a Game Sponsor along with the Wayne PBA.  Game shirts are an important part of the Wayne Alliance team and have already garnered sponsorship from Lou's Landscaping and Atlantic Health System/Chilton Memorial Hospital.

Wayne's elementary PTO organizations generously co-sponsor the game with their donations from the elementary schools.  The school that sells the most pre-game tickets receives a free ice cream party along with the school that makes the most compelling prevention message banner.  The banner is another way for the Wayne Alliance to share awareness in the weeks leading up to the event.

"We always look forward to the event with the Harlem MagicMasters as a fun alcohol-free family event," said Mayor Vergano who will be on hand to welcome everyone on April 24th as the Alliance All Stars try once again to foil the Harlem Magic Masters who bring their brand of excitement, entertainment and hilarity to the fun, family extravaganza.

While advanced ticket sales usually sell out, Basketball Committee Chairperson, Vicki Lefelar reminds the public that admission is also available at the door.   Advanced tickets will be available at every Wayne elementary school $8.00 for students and senior citizens and $10.00 for adults.  Prices are $10.00 and $12.00 at the door.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available and all supporters will appear in the game-day program given to all attendees.  An excellent way to support a healthy community and promote your business!

Proceeds from Alliance fundraisers allow the organization to continue providing quality alcohol and drug prevention education programs for Wayne residents.
