PASSAIC COUNTY - A hit-and-run crash led to the death of a Clifton man and Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi are looking for your help.

According to Valdes, it was just past midnight on Sunday, April 25 when 35-year-old Dharmesh Patel of Clifton was walking across Route 46 West near Rock Hill Road in Clifton. An unidentified vehicle struck Patel as he was walking and subsequently fled the scene.

The injured man was then tragically struck again by a second vehicle, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 52-year-old male from New Brunswick. This man stopped to call 911 and provide what aid he could.
