BELLEVILLE, NJ - Powered by two grand slams, the Caldwell baseball team routed Belleville, 12-2, on Wednesday.

Jon Demattheis and Mike Cavallo hit grand slam home runs for Caldwell (7-1), which led, 2-0, after three innings before plating six runs in the fourth inning and four more runs in the fifth.

Junior left-hander Evan Dyer (2-0) allowed one earned run on three hits over five innings for the victory. Dyer struck out three and walked two.
