The keynote speaker is Anthony Wolf, PhD, a MA-based child psychologist and best-selling author of six books including, "I’d Listen to My Parents if They’d Just Shut Up: What to Say and Not Say When Parenting Teens" and "Get Out of My Life, But First Could You Take Me and Cheryl to the Mall?" Dr. Wolf has also appeared as a guest parenting expert on shows such as The View, The Today Show and CBS This Morning.

A practical, humorous parenting authority for more than 25 years, Dr. Wolf will describe the normal, frustrating adolescent phenomenon including:
  • How today’s teenagers are different than in the past— more outspoken, and less “immediately” obedient.
  • Why the rude behavior at home usually has a more civilized side shown to the world--and how this is a better indicator of who they are and who they become.
  • The useful and not-so-useful ways of dealing with today’s teens/tweens which can make a significant impact on family life.

Dr. Wolf will provide proven strategies to help parents communicate more effectively with their teen children so their families can survive and thrive during this often challenging period.
