Deadline to Register for Fairfield Golden Agers 2018 Christmas Trip is Jan. 15

FAIRFIELD, NJ — Jan. 15 is the final day to reserve a seat on the Fairfield Golden Agers’ 2018 Christmas trip to Pigeon Forge, TN and Asheville, NC, from Sunday, Nov. 11 to Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018.

The 2018 Christmas trip will offer the opportunity to visit Dollywood USA Amusement Park; four shows, including Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Theater Show, Pigeon Forge Christmas Show at Country Tonight, Dixie Stampede Dinner Show and Barter Theatre show in Virginia; Great Smoky Mountain Wheel ride and distillery tour; visit to Blue Ridge Parkway Center; guided driving tour of historic Asheville with stops at Thomas Wolfe Memorial home, Pritchard Park, Pack Square, River Arts district, the historic Asheville Courthouse, City Hall, Basilica St. Lawrence, and Smith-McDowell House Museum; and Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest drive-through. 

The highlight of the tour will be visiting the Biltmore Estate, George Vanderbilt’s 250-room French chateau that was completed in 1895. While staying at the estate for two nights, guests will explore the gardens and grounds, conservatory, River Bend Farm and Antler Hill’s Village and Winery and enjoy an evening candlelight dinner and tour while staying at the Biltmore Inn.

The Fairfield Golden Agers will also be touring historic Bristol, TN, the official birthplace of country music. This tour includes visiting the museum dedicated to the crucial roles played by artists from this region who nurtured country and bluegrass music.

The total cost of the trip is $1,550 per person for double occupancy, or $2,180 for single occupancy, which includes two nights at the Biltmore Inn. The package includes round-trip deluxe motor coach transportation, six nights’ accommodations, six breakfasts and six dinners, admissions, guided tour of Asheville and Bristol, Dollywood, four shows, luggage handling, all taxes and gratuities.
